A group of Kinner female folk dancers
The photograph here is of five women folk from
Kinnour. This group have come to perform the Kinner dance at the time of
Shivaratri fair at Mandi. The dress of the ladies is typically Kinner in
form and look. Special type of hats silver ornaments covering the
forehead and eyes and ears of the dancers and silver necklaces reaching
the waists and covered with colorful woolen shawls accompanied with
black shawls tide around their bottom portion of the bodies with other
cloth ornamental articles.
