Lavi Mela, Rampur

Lavi fair at Rampur Bushahar is centuries old fair where the trade with Tibet was organized. With Chinese hostilities it was stopped but still with detente and peaceful conditions some traders still come from Tibet with their wool, pasham, zeera and like things.
They take cereals, cloth, utensils and other household things to their homes. It has become the biggest market for wool, pasham, pattu, chilgosa, zeera, manufactured agriculture and horticultural implements and cereals from the plains. This exchange of the needed things has made this fair very famous and popular cutting the boundaries of the different countries.
